The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for developing the customer strategy and growing Flowers Foods' revenue, distribution, market share, and profitability with the company's assigned accounts. The ideal candidate will have extensive retail account management experience and the skillset to build relationships, conduct business, and enhance Flowers' reputation with our customers and key decision makers. The Regional Account Manager is responsible for building and implementing the retail customer strategy to attain volume growth targets, achieve sales goals, build market share, expand distribution, manage Accrual Budgets, and increase profitability through more effective assortment,  expand authorizations, with effective strategy and tactics regionally.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

Promotes a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations
Develops and manages customer relationships within all levels of assigned retailers, buyers, and key decision makers; contribute to customer strategy ensuring local Flowers business objectives are achieved
Partners with the BU/Brand Teams and Marketing to understand trends and consumer preferences and direct account strategy to maximize potential
Works with the VP of Regional Accounts and the Brand Teams to Develop a Sales Plan that delivers Flowers sales and margin objectives within the Trade Promotion Management and accrual funding structure
Partners internally with various other departments to properly plan, communicate and ensure excellent distributions by Flowers various distribution departments
Achieves/exceeds all established key sales measures and targets
Contributes to the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Ensures open and effective lines of communication and collaboration with VP of Sales, supporting Regional Operations team, BU/Brand Teams, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other functions to achieve enterprise goals
Fosters an environment that engages and educates the regional team with responsibility and the tools to achieve goals at region and building level
Leads, coaches, and supports the retail team. 
Builds and develops a high-performing sales leadership team at the regional level and builds regional culture to ensure high performance results
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes - Oxley, Safety, etc.)
Performs other duties which are deemed to be an integral part of the position, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

Possesses a minimum of 4 years' experience working in Retail Account Management and CPG sales 
 Past success in teamwork and guiding sales
Equivalent management experience
Ability to travel up to 25%, with some overnight travel

Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Finance 
Master's degree preferred

Salary Range-  95000 - 105000
