Job Summary:

Wholesure Inc, a division of Acrisure, is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager for our West region in order to drive new business opportunities, maintain and build key agency relationships, and assist brokers in achieving production objectives. The sales manager works closely with the Head of Growth for the region in executing key sales initiatives. In addition, the sales manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of three existing sales representatives for CA, AK, AZ, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, UT, WY, NV, OR and WA

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of commercial and personal lines sales representatives.

  • Establish sales goals, performance expectations and accountability measures.

  • Conduct regular agency vitis, ride-alongs and coaching sessions.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Build lasting relationships with key agents and Wholesure brokers.

  • Promote cross-selling strategies within Wholesure.

  • Analyze sales results, retention and profitability metrics.

  • Conduct performance reviews.

  • Develop action plans to improve underperforming territories.

Requirements

  • Develop new leads through mining existing relationships, outreach to partner brokers, research, warm transfer leads, cold-calling and strategizing with contacts and prospective brokers within your territory

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through follow-up calls, emails, and social media

  • Present and demonstrate product via teleconference if/when necessary

  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals

  • Proactive assessments to adjust and adapt quickly as needed to maintain and build performance

  • Assess and optimize strategies for lead conversion both inbound and outbound

  • Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, networking and relationship ability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Up to 40% travel is required

Education and Experience:

  • Active Property and Casualty license

  • 8+ years Commercial and/or Personal Lines experience in the wholesale space

  • 3 or more years of experience with leading a team of new and/or seasoned sales representatives

  • College degree preferred OR equivalent business experience

  • Candidates will be expected to pursue continuing education and insurance designations/licenses as outlined in the training and development plan. This will require self-study.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
