Your Role

Regional Sales Managers play a critical role in the success of our business by providing leadership to our Sales Team. The target is to create a positive culture that energizes and encourages each other, fosters connected relationships and great teamwork, empowers, and enables our team to learn and grow.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hires, Trains, and Provides Leadership to the regional sales team.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of the region.
  • Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure goals are met.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
  • Maintains excellent customer relations by calling on and assuring that the customers’ needs are met. Monitors customer activity including industry and market trends, competitive actions, pricing situations and makes recommendations to capitalize on opportunities or minimize risk.
  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales goals and strategies.
  • Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.
  • Generates and analyzes sales and revenue reports.
  • When requested, submits analysis to Executive Leadership.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in construction products or related industry required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required to effectively interact with all levels of company management staff and customers
  • Demonstrated computer skills including excel, word, power point, one note, TEAMS and outlook
  • Proven ability to build and manage successful teams
  • Ability to be tactical and results oriented and strategic.


Work Conditions

  • Must be able to travel 40–50% within the Northeast region.

  • Ability to spend long periods of time driving.

  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

  • Jobsites, warehouses, and offices

  • Inside and outside, standing for long periods of time

  • Directly with customers

  • Lifting capabilities 25lbs
