Job description

Job Title: Regional Operations & Logistics ManagerJob Description
The Regional Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the logistics function, managing warehouse operations, and optimizing transportation strategies to meet delivery commitments while controlling freight costs.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the network's transportation strategy across modes and lanes.
  • Manage carrier relationships, including selection, negotiation, and ongoing performance management.
  • Administer freight contracts and rate agreements to secure favorable terms and service levels.
  • Optimize parcel programs to balance cost and service across carriers.
  • Improve routing to enhance transit efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met across the network.
  • Drive operational performance of warehouse operations under your purview.
  • Standardize shipping processes across locations.
  • Manage freight claims, including filing, resolution, and root-cause reduction.
  • Maintain carrier scorecards to track and govern carrier performance.
  • Maintain logistics performance reporting, freight spend, and delivery metrics.
Essential Skills
  • Expertise in logistics, supply chain, and transportation logistics.
  • Understanding of freight rate structures and negotiated rates.
  • Experience with carrier agreements and contract management.
  • Strong analytical mindset for evaluating carrier performance and compliance.
  • Proficiency in monitoring freight management and applying lean principles.

Offices are located in AL, MS, LA, FL, AR, TX, and NC.
