Job description

Cold War Refrigeration is an equal opportunities employer operating in the construction, refrigeration, and HVAC industries. Cold War Refrigeration is looking to fill a full time HVAC/R technician position covering Southern California. Salary is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Install, repair, service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration and commercial air conditioning systems. 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Respond to emergency/service maintenance requests.
  • Maintain high-quality customer service.

Qualifications:
  • Certified EPA Type II and III or Universal (preferred).
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to gain industry knowledge.
  • Time management skills.
  • Team player who can ensure fast, reliable, and trustworthy service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, critical thinking, and mechanical aptitude skills.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Able to lift 50 Lbs., and climb a ladder.
