Job description

 Marketing Operations Specialist

Location: Ann Arbor, MI (preferred) or Chicago, IL
Reports to: VP, Community & Patient Engagement

About Town Square Health

Town Square Health is reimagining what healthcare can be. We're building a first-of-its-kind value-based care model with a singular mission: to set the gold standard for how Americans experience healthcare. Our primary care locations offer comprehensive primary care with coordinated specialty support for Medicare-eligible patients, and we're growing fast, with expansion into multiple markets on the horizon. If you're bold, collaborative, and driven to make a real difference in people's lives, we'd love to have you on our team!

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional marketing operations role.

As our Marketing Operations Specialist, you'll own the strategy, execution, and optimization of Town Square Health's HubSpot CRM and WordPress website, with a strong emphasis on segmentation, forms, customer journeys, and website maintenance. You'll be the internal expert on our HubSpot instance, the person who makes sure the right message reaches the right person at the right time, and the one who keeps our digital presence accurate, on-brand, and running smoothly.

This is a great fit for someone who understands the nuances of marketing in a healthcare setting, enjoys the technical and operational side of marketing, and wants to make a direct impact on how we reach and engage our audience. You're equally comfortable architecting a lifecycle journey as you are troubleshooting a form or updating a webpage.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Own Town Square Health's HubSpot instance end to end, from segmentation strategy to journey design to data hygiene
  • Shape how we reach and engage Medicare-eligible patients and their families across digital channels
  • Build the marketing operations infrastructure for a first-of-its-kind value-based care organization
  • Work cross-functionally with clinical, product, and marketing teams in a high-visibility, high-impact role

What You'll Do

HubSpot CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Serve as the internal expert on HubSpot, managing and optimizing the platform to support marketing and business goals
  • Build and refine audience segmentation strategies to ensure the right message reaches the right people at the right time
  • Design, build, and test forms to support lead capture and conversion across the website and campaigns
  • Develop and manage automated customer journeys and workflows, from lead nurturing to onboarding to retention
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data to continuously improve segmentation, targeting, and journey design
  • Maintain data hygiene and best practices within the CRM, including list management, lifecycle stages, and properties
  • Support and optimize integrations between HubSpot and other systems, including EHR platforms, to ensure accurate data flow and compliant, coordinated patient communications
  • Triage and respond to messages from forms and external requests

Website Maintenance (WordPress)

  • Perform routine updates and maintenance on the Town Square Health WordPress website, including publishing blog posts, updating pages, and managing media
  • Monitor site performance and troubleshoot basic issues (broken links, formatting, plugin updates), escalating more complex technical issues as needed
  • Ensure website content stays current, on-brand, and aligned with SEO best practices
  • Coordinate with developers or technical support for larger site changes, integrations, or issues beyond routine maintenance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales, product, marketing, and clinical teams to align CRM strategy, segmentation, and journeys with broader business and campaign goals
  • Work closely with content and campaign owners to implement emails, landing pages, and forms within HubSpot, ensuring technical execution matches strategic intent
  • Serve as the technical liaison between marketing, IT, and external vendors on HubSpot and WordPress-related projects, including EHR integration work
  • Support broader digital marketing initiatives as needed, including campaign builds, landing page development, and website updates

Who You Are

You're a technical marketer who thrives in the details without losing sight of the strategy. You bring genuine expertise in HubSpot and WordPress, a strong instinct for data and segmentation, and enough healthcare marketing experience to understand what compliance-conscious communication looks like in practice.

You're self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. You don't wait to be told what needs fixing; you notice it, flag it, and handle it. You take pride in work that is accurate, on-brand, and built to scale.

Most importantly, you believe healthcare can be better — and you want to be part of the team proving it.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with hands-on experience in HubSpot and WordPress
  • Experience in healthcare marketing (e.g., healthcare provider, health system, health tech, payer, or related regulated industry)
  • Demonstrated expertise in HubSpot CRM functionality, specifically audience segmentation and list building, form creation and optimization, and customer journey and workflow development
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining or updating a WordPress website, including page and post editing, media management, and plugin updates
  • Strong writing skills with samples demonstrating copywriting across email, blog, and social formats
  • Experience developing and executing content marketing strategy, not just writing individual pieces
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, A/B testing, and segmentation strategy
  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles as they apply to blog and web content
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance considerations relevant to marketing communications, including HIPAA
  • Experience with social media scheduling and management tools
  • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot integrations with EHR systems (e.g., Athena, Epic) strongly preferred
  • Experience marketing Medicare services and familiarity with CMS marketing regulations
  • HubSpot certification(s)
  • Experience deploying and monitoring Meta and Google ads

What We Offer

  • Salary range of $70-80k
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K)
  • Opportunity to build something from the ground up
  • Direct impact on how patients find and engage with Town Square Health
  • High visibility and influence in a growing organization
  • Collaborative, mission-driven team

We welcome and encourage applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.
