Group Details 

The Data Management team is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and lifecycle management of securities reference data across global markets. The team supports security onboarding, data validation, and ongoing maintenance of the firm's security master and related data platforms to ensure high-quality data delivery to downstream systems and business stakeholders. Working closely with Technology, Product, Operations, and external data vendors, the group plays a key role in supporting daily data operations and continuous process improvements. Team members gain exposure to financial instruments, data platforms, and automation initiatives within a collaborative and fast-paced environment." 

Job Responsibilities 

The Data Management Assistant Vice President (AVP) supports the daily execution of securities to reference data processes and contributes to the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data delivered to downstream systems. The role focuses on hands-on data validation, maintenance, and issue of investigation across multiple data sources under established procedures. This role works closely with senior team members, Technology teams, and data vendors to support data quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement efforts.  

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for reference data and security master domains, acting as the primary regional escalation point for complex data issues, investigations, and stakeholder inquiries. 
  • Lead complex data analysis, investigations, and root-cause reviews across multiple systems and data sources, driving scalable solutions and continuous improvement. 
  • Partner with business, technology, operations, and external data providers to define data requirements, resolve data quality challenges, and support the effective use of enterprise reference data. 
  • Apply strong securities and primary marketexpertiseto support the onboarding, maintenance, and lifecycle management of financial instruments. 
  • Support strategic data integration, migration, and transformation initiatives, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and alignment across platforms and workflows. 
  • Drive adherence to data governance standards, controls, and policies while partnering with Data Governance stakeholders on data quality monitoring, issue management, control execution, and regulatory or audit-related activities. 
  • Deliver data governance metrics, KPIs, and management reporting that provide transparency into data quality, operational risk, control effectiveness, and remediation progress. 
  • Identifydata risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities, recommending actions to strengthen operational controls and data quality. 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience. 
  • 5-7 years of experience in data management, reference data, or related roles within the financial services industry. 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting oroperatinga security master or enterprise reference data platform. 
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income securities; broader exposure to equity securities is a plus. 
  • Experience supporting complex data integration, migration, or transformation initiatives. 
  • Experience supporting enterprise data governance programs, including data quality management, controls, policy implementation, and issue remediation tracking. 
  • Experience producing management reporting, metrics, and dashboards related to data quality, governance, operational risk, or regulatory compliance. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex analyses and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Technical Skills 

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL. 
  • Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or tooling. 
  • Solid understanding of data mapping, data modeling, and relational database concepts. 
  • Experience designing or supporting data quality checks, reconciliations, and control frameworks. 
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, VBA, and data connectivity. 

Preferred 

  • Experience working within a global or distributed data operating model. 
  • Exposure to primary market workflows and issuance-related data. 
  • Experience driving automation or analytical initiatives within a data or reference data function. 
  • Experience acting as a senior SME or regional point of contact. 
  • Experience working with enterprise data governance frameworks, data stewardship models, and governance tooling. 
  • Experience presenting data governance metrics, quality trends, and remediation status to senior management and governance committees.

  • The current pay range for this role is currently $110,000 to $125,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines.
  • This role will also be eligible to participate in Tradeweb's discretionary bonus program.
