SUMMARY
This is a full-time position within RS EDEN's mental health and trauma recovery program, Minnesota Trauma Recovery Institute (MN-TRI). This position is 40 hours per week and includes a caseload of individual, couples, and family clients. This position also may facilitate group therapy across RS EDEN. Therapists work collaboratively with the clinical team to provide high quality mental health services to individuals who may have justice involvement and trauma histories. Therapy services are provided across several RS EDEN programs including in an outpatient mental health clinic, residential substance abuse treatment, reentry housing, and across individual and family supportive housing sites.
This position requires a clinician to have a passion for providing community-based services, a commitment to providing a high level of care to all clients, including those who are reluctant to receiving services, and to believe whole-heartedly in second chances and people's capacity to heal. This position requires strong organizational skills, a basic understanding of the business realities of providing fee-for-service care, crave collaboration, teamwork, and is excited by both the challenges and prospects of implementing high quality mental health care into traditionally underserved settings.
Pay ranges from $65,000-$77,000 annually
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet regularly with prospective clients and staff to ensure ongoing communication and support.
  • Maintain a caseload of 24 direct client hours per week (minimum).
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans for clients.
  • Complete and submit all documentation and client records in compliance with organization policies and relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Provide high quality therapy services using evidence-based, trauma responsive, and systemic approaches.
  • Collaborate with clinical team and interdisciplinary teams across RS EDEN programs to enhance client care.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and professional development trainings.
  • Build a strong therapeutic alliance and partnership with agency staff to support client outcomes.
  • Develop and facilitate groups as assigned.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients to foster trust and progress.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote a sustainable and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure proper coordination of care for clients and work in partnership with other professionals involved in their treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization's mission and client needs.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Required:
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Full and unrestricted Minnesota license as a: LMFT, LICSW, LP or LPCC.
  • Experience with relational clients (couples, families, etc.) preferred
  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals preferred
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a favorable driving background check.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds impacted by systems and barriers.
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve and make sound decisions.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues in support RS EDEN's mission and vision.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in using multiple database systems.
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and adhere to confidentiality policies.
