Job description

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Within a team-based environment, serves as an analytical or statistical specialist. Assists the Department of Community Initiatives & Population Health, in facilitating the synthesis of various data sources in support of analytic-driven projects. Provides technical and methodological design consultation, while supporting departmental projects and functional responsibilities, data management, statistical analysis and results interpretation/reporting for a variety of internal and external projects. Will focus on developing products that utilize and integrate various analytical and statistical programs including SPSS, RedCap, and Tableau. Collaborates with departments and key stakeholders to develop a culture of data fluency that optimizes enterprise-level “self-service” reporting.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

BS/BA degree required in analytics or health care related field . Two years experience in a health care or related setting in statistical data analysis, health service planning, and or related reports is preferred. New analytical tools highly preferred. Prior experience working in Epic, Epic Slicer Dicer knowledge, RedCAP. preferred.. Must demonstrate adaptability, decision-making, customer focus, and problem-solving skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
