Job description

We are seeking a skilled Production Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and repairing high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals. This role involves working collaboratively within a designated team, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining positive relationships across departments.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to ensure production goals are met.
  • Assist in performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Build positive relationships across designated teams by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
  • Possess knowledge of operating Cryovac and sanitation, setup, and troubleshooting of hydration equipment.
  • Familiarity with corenco, dicer, and scales for pre-scaling.
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), sanitation, setup of kettles, filters, and daily reports for Clean-in-Place (CIPs).
  • Familiarity with Just Foods (ERP) reporting and setup.
  • Actively participate in training with Job Instructions (JI) and Job Relations (JR).
  • Understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Assets in Red Zone.
  • Familiarity with automation/robotics machinery, packing machinery, and Armor Inox.
  • Follow all job safety practices and policies, including food safety, personal protective equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in operating and maintaining production equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload requirements effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse machinery preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with sanitation practices and equipment setup.
  • Willingness to undergo training and continuous improvement initiatives.
