  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that incorporate their personal goals and treatment preferences.
  • Offer individual therapy sessions across various age groups, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
  • Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing interpersonal communication, mediating conflicts, and fostering stronger emotional connections.
  • Keep thorough and organized documentation of all client interactions, assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans to ensure continuity and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Regularly revisit and refine treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness to their evolving needs.

  • Engage in professional development activities, staying abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and emerging research in the field of marriage and family therapy.
  • Uphold strict ethical guidelines, including maintaining confidentiality and advocating for the rights and well-being of clients.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, maintaining effective communication with other healthcare professionals involved in client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus will encompass a diverse range of individuals and relationships, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples from various backgrounds. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate personal struggles, relationship challenges, and mental health disorders while creating a personalized and inclusive therapeutic experience.

Qualifications

  • Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Oregon.
  • Proven experience in providing both individual and couples therapy, with a background in engaging with various age demographics.
  • Strong proficiency in documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to learn and utilize electronic health record systems effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior involvement in teletherapy and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and working with clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to marriage and family therapy.
