About Coastal Waste & Recycling

At Coastal Waste & Recycling, we're building more than a company, we're building a team. As one of the fastest-growing privately held waste and recycling companies in the Southeast, we're looking for people who take pride in their work, put safety first, and are ready to grow with us. Win New Business. Make an Impact. Are you a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing deals? As a Sales Executive at Coastal Waste & Recycling, you'll play a key role in driving our continued growth by developing new business, expanding customer relationships, and delivering customized waste and recycling solutions throughout your assigned territory. At Coastal, our Sales Executives do more than sell services—they become trusted advisors to businesses, municipalities, and community partners while helping customers find reliable environmental solutions backed by exceptional service.

Your Role

As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and developing long-term customer relationships that drive profitable growth. You'll partner closely with Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, and other departments to ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience from the first meeting through service implementation and beyond. Meet with prospective customers to understand their operations and recommend customized waste and recycling solutions. Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and service recommendations. Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contract terms while balancing customer needs and company objectives. Build lasting customer relationships by delivering exceptional service before, during, and after the sale. Partner with Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience. Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, customer information, and pipeline updates within the company's CRM system. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within your territory. Represent Coastal Waste & Recycling at networking events, trade associations, community organizations, and customer meetings. Meet or exceed established sales goals, activity expectations, and revenue targets. At Coastal, we win as a team. Our Sales Executives build relationships, create opportunities, support their teammates, and help drive the continued growth and success of Coastal Waste & Recycling.

What You'll Bring

One (1) or more years of outside sales, business development, account management, or relationship management experience. Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship building. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to build trust and establish long-term customer relationships. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Experience selling business-to-business (B2B) services, waste and recycling, transportation, construction, environmental services, or industrial services, bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole), and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms are a plus.
