As a contract manufacturer organization (CMO), we collaborate with innovators from some of the world's most successful brands.
Summary: The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for delivering full-cycle recruitment and hiring. The Recruiting Specialist collaborates with CAPTEK business leaders and the HR team to fully contribute and align with business objectives. The Recruiting Specialist leads the effort of onboarding new employees and developing an emotional connection to CAPTEK from the point of orientation. The Recruiting Specialist works closely with the HR Team to develop and deliver retention and engagement programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Owns the full recruiting/hiring cycle from searching for candidates to onboarding.
  • Demonstrates exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Serve as an advisor to hiring managers and coaching on the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Develop and update job descriptions, interview guides and onboarding plans.
  • Provide a high-quality interview and onboarding experience for candidates and newly hired employees.
  • Participate in recruiting development events.
  • Develop a skill-set matrix to support hiring qualified candidates and enhance retention.
  • Present monthly talent acquisition and organizational development metrics; open requisitions, time to fill, new hires, conversions from Temporary Assignments, training.
  • Partner with leaders to keep positions filled in critical operations areas.
  • Update open position tracking report
  • Work toward process improvements on a daily basis to produce value added activities.
  • Lead retention and training programs, including "stay and pulse surveys".
  • Responsible for pre-employment activities; E-Verify, Background Checks and pre-employment drug screens
  • Performs reference checks
  • Strong understanding of positions and business objectives to align candidates to opening
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand required knowledge, skills and abilities for open positions
  • Maintain internal tracking tools to provide on demand reporting of recruitment metrics, growth and attrition
  • Utilizes Dayforce HRIS and external recruiting sources to achieve business objectives
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of full-cycle Talent Acquisition experience
  • Ability to collaborate and effectively partner with all levels of the organization
  • Solid communication skills
  • Ability to influence business leaders at all levels.
  • High degree of professionalism and empathy to positively represent CAPTEK's brand.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience with technology; Microsoft applications package, Applicant Tracking System, Learning Management Systems, collaboration tools, video conference, job boards and social media.
  • Ability to multi-task and be organized.
  • Ability to travel to location in San Diego County and other locations, as necessary.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) - 5 years of equivalent experience.
