Job Description

As a Patient Recruitment Representative, you will directly work with and contact panelists to secure their agreement to participate in clinical research studies undertaken by the company. You will screen panelists (medical history and study specific requirements), schedule, track, and adjust panelist appointments for current and future research studies. The individual must be able to provide excellent customer service and phone manner, moderate to advanced problem-solving skills, and the desire to assist teammates to achieve our overall recruiting goals. If the individual is screening panelists in-person, they must have adequate conflict resolution skills. When needing assistance, the individual must have adequate interpersonal skills to help direct teammates.

  • Contacts potential panelists provided in Panelist Database: explains the Company's business; describes current or upcoming complex studies for which the person may have interest and/or have the qualifications to participate; gathers preliminary information about the individual that will be required for participation in a study; secures agreement from the person to participate in studies.
  • Collects information from people to add to the Company's potential panelist database.
  • Tracks and maintains subgroup requirements for assigned studies, as requested by management: reschedule and/or cancel appointments base on updated criteria as needed; mine, adjust and filter database leads to target study specific requirements
  • Provides standard reports on personal deliverables as requested by management.
  • Communicates study issues and resolution attempts
  • Collaborates and assists team members with the recruitment and completion of studies
  • Participates from time-to-time in Company marketing events geared to potential panelists
  • Provides excellent customer service to panelists and maintains positive interaction with peers and supervisors.
  • Performs other duties or tasks assigned by Recruiting Manager and Recruiting Supervisor.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
  • For Patient Recruitment Representatives working face-to-face with panelists after their screening or follow up visits,
  • Provides panelists with a point of escalation by providing attentive customer service and rescheduling options.
  • Works with Principal Investigators and clinic staff to understand disqualification information and provide insight to the recruiting teams for course correction in future groups.
  • Supports recruiting team with basic clinical grading knowledge
Qualifications
  • High School degree or equivalent Required
  • Minimum 1-year telecommunication experience preferable Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Preferred
  • 3 years telecommunication experience Preferred
  • 2 years of moderate to advanced problem-solving experience Preferred
  • Project management experience Preferred
