# of Openings:  1 Senior Program Manager/Business Manager Purpose: * Valkyrie Enterprises is looking for a Senior Program Manager and Business lead, location is Huntsville, AL. Job Description: * Lead, Guide, Mentor, Grow, Enable and Produce electro-optical infrared (EOIR) testing products, solutions and services, in cooperation with Technical, Business Development and Finance, focused on delivery and performance to customers and developing new products. * Develop and Manage EOIR practices, in cooperation with Technical, Business Development and Finance, focused on development, integration, production, pipeline development, capture management and proposal development/writing. * Develop, win, initiate and execute FAR-based and non-traditional contract vehicles (BAA, OTA, etc.) in fixed price and cost-plus fixed fee types. * Effectively manage product unit  P&L using decision support analyses, , financial & quantitative analyses, problem solving, data management/analysis, and direct, indirect, IRAD and Bid & Proposal (B&P) cost budgeting and tracking. * Lead and manage assigned programs and contracts meeting technical, financial and workforce development goals. * Provide personnel management funcitions to include hiring, termination, performance assessments, HR interface, compensation/benefits, etc * Demonstrated success and experience in growing an organization, recruiting, hiring, and personnel management. * Advise leadership and assist in company vision, directions, and pipeline development of select markets. * Develop and implement market and product strategies leading to expansion of current markets and creation of new markets and products. Qualifications: * Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM Field, preferred Electrical Engineering, Physics and/or Optics and at least 20 years of experience. * Must have at least 20 years relevant work experience with DoW programs / projects. * Must have Government and commercial program management and technical experience. * Must have experience leading successful project efforts. * Must have demonstrated success and experience in growing an organization including maintaining and current and legacy efforts, capturing new business, recruiting, hiring, and personnel management. * Must have demonstrated experience in successfully managing organizational P&L to include profit/EBITDA growth and indirect and rate management. * Must have experience developing, winning, establishment and executing  contracts, purchase orders and task orders. * Must have strong oral and written communication skills. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Engineering, preferred Electrical/Optical and/or Physics, preferred. * Experience with production processes and orgaanizations. * Experience in Seeker/Sensor testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation, preferred. * Experience with DoW, Intelligence community, Industry, University, and International markets, preferred. * Experience with quality programs to include ISO registrations and Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above preferred)  with preferred strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks. * Top Secret, SCI security clearance preferred. Security Requirements: * Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain the clearance. Travel Requirements: * Travel (15%) of time. * If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
