Rate of pay: $15.00 – $16.00. Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Teach and coach youth program participants in various sports ensuring lessons cater to different skill levels.
  • Implement diverse youth programs in sports, art, dance, tumbling, STEAM, and archery.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all youth participants, ensuring they feel encouraged and supported in their activities.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and guardians about program schedules, goals, and expectations.
  • Address any concerns or issues raised by participants or parents, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of all program activities, ensuring proper use of facilities and equipment.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of necessary supplies and equipment for each program area (e.g., sports gear, art supplies, tumbling mats, STEAM kits, archery targets).
  • Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard and comply with safety regulations.
  • May require evening or weekend hours depending on the program schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in youth program management, ideally in a multi-disciplinary environment involving sports, arts, and STEM education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-lingual skills
  • Experience or certification in specific program areas (e.g., coaching, dance instruction, art education, tumbling, STEAM programs, archery).
