The Position
The Recruiting Intern will be responsible for the following:
Job Posting and Promotion:
  • Draft compelling job descriptions and post openings on company website, LinkedIn, and other job boards, ensuring they are optimized for maximum visibility and engagement.
  • Participate in job intake calls with hiring managers to ensure accurate job postings.
  • Monitor and respond to candidate inquiries and applications. 
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including HumCap’s applicant tracking system, online databases, social media, and networking, to identify potential candidates.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Prepare candidates for client interview processes.
  • Manage feedback gathering from hiring managers.
  • Prepare candidate for offer processes and compensation discussions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system.
Internal Reporting:
  • Assist in compiling and analyzing recruitment data to generate daily and weekly reports for the recruiting team.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reports to internal team.
Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the recruiting team including scheduling interviews and managing recruitment-related documents.
  • Assist with other special projects as needed to support the overall recruitment function.
Other Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit the ability to interact effectively with people
  • Choose to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • Attend networking events and career fairs to build relationships with potential clients and prospective candidates.

  • Able to represent HumCap at local business meetings, job fairs, and local seminars to represent the organization in the community

  • Fast-paced, well-organized, multi-tasker, and efficient in the delivery of the recruitment cycle
Industry Experience
  • 0 - 2 years’ experience as Recruiter or Sourcer in an agency or corporate environment OR experience in sales 
  • Strong PC Computer Skills – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Internet, Databases
  • Selling experience is a plus!
Education
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree
