Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our client's dynamic team. This full-time position focuses exclusively on managing small business commercial insurance accounts with annual premiums of $75,000 and under. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, exceptional client service skills, and proven experience working with diverse industry sectors including Construction, Hospitality, Entertainment, Amusement Parks, Manufacturing, and Distribution.

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for valued small business clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to account management, strong technical proficiency with agency management systems such as AMS 360, and the ability to navigate complex insurance requirements across multiple industry verticals.

Primary ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client Relations
  • Manage a portfolio of small business commercial lines accounts with premiums up to $75,000, serving as the primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal team members
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through proactive communication, regular account reviews, and exceptional service delivery
  • Conduct comprehensive policy reviews to ensure adequate coverage and identify potential gaps or exposures
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other account servicing requests with accuracy and timeliness
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding coverage, claims, billing, and policy documentation
  • Coordinate renewal processes including gathering updated information, marketing accounts when necessary, and presenting renewal options to clients
Industry-Specific Expertise Preferred
  • Demonstrate specialized knowledge of insurance requirements and risk exposures specific to Construction, Hospitality, Entertainment, Amusement Parks, Manufacturing, and Distribution industries
  • Understand unique coverage needs such as contractors' equipment, liquor liability, event cancellation, products liability, etc.
