Job description

Description Job Description The Sports Supervisor will work under the direction of the Sports and Fitness Recreation Supervisor and is responsible for providing on-site supervision and scorekeeping for the Department's Adult and Youth Sports Leagues. Adult Softball Leagues are held at Broad Rock and West Kingston softball fields. The schedule for those games is Monday through Thursday from 5:30pm to 9:30pm during the months of April through November.

Fridays may be scheduled as well for makeup games. JV Basketball League is held at the SK Recreation Center. The schedule for those games is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm during the months of June through August.

Youth Recreation Basketball League is held at the SK Recreation Center and Broad Rock Middle School. The schedule for those games will be Saturdays from 8:00am to 4:00pm during the months of November through February. Training will be provided.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess knowledge of softball and/or basketball league rules. Prospective candidates do not have to commit to all 3 leagues to be considered. Salary This position pays $19 per hour.
