Description:

The Residential Supervisor supervises and coordinates residential living operations during the assigned shift.


This position's shift is 3pm-12am.


Job Description:

· Manage student movement and accountability within the dorms.

· Distribute dorm supplies and track dorm performance, including retention and incentives.

· Screen, interview, and recommend candidates for Residential Advisor (RA) positions.

· Report residential operations updates to the Residential Living Manager.

· Train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate RAs.

· Ensure dorm activity logs and non-health standing orders are followed and maintained.

· Teach and support students in developing independent living skills.

· Coordinate building and equipment use and maintain a safe, healthy dorm environment.

· Respond to student emergencies (injuries, illnesses, emotional issues, etc.) and provide first aid.

· Inspect dorms for cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness.

· Participate in case conferences and maintain accurate student development records.

· Complete required reports on time.

· Support student discipline, engagement, and employability skill development.

· Build strong rapport with students and collaborate with safety/security as needed.

· Provides regular feedback to students regarding appropriate employability skills.

· Arrange student transportation, as needed.

· Serve as the center’s after-hours liaison to the Center Director.

· Support student leadership programs.

· Follow CDSS, Code of Conduct, and all DOL, OFCCP, PRH, Bizzell, and Center policies.

· Maintain property control, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

· Model Bizzell values, Career Success Standards, and reinforce employability skills.

· Participate in all required staff training.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

Education

Associate degree in a human services field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or similar) or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Valid State Driver’s License.
