The Ranch has a recently renovated Spa, an 18-hole Pete Dye designed golf course, a resort getaway that offers world-class recreation and relaxation amid 500 lush acres of natural beauty, Carmel Valley Ranch offers sophisticated, approachable luxury with distinct character highlighting our Carmel Valley location. Alila Ventana Big Sur offers an inclusive getaway where the redwoods meet the coastline views of the Pacific. About the Role - Reservations Agent
A Reservations Agent is responsible for reservations duties, but is not limited to handling guest room reservation requests for the hotel, provide guest with hotel facility information and answer questions relating to the hotel and local area, blocking rooms, completing a daily checklist, and other duties as assigned. Also responsible for answering all incoming calls, handling guest mail and faxes, and taking messages for guests.
Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Knowledge of Hyatt, Forbes 5 Star and AAA 4 Diamond Luxury Standards and Service Expectations
  • Professional, personalized and engaging luxury service required
  • React quickly to guest service opportunities and recovery, logging and notifying proper areas where appropriate and take ownership of recovery process with support of leadership team
  • This individual is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor
  • Correspond with guests in a professional manner before, during and after their stay
  • Experience with as many of the following hotel systems is preferred: Opera, Reserve, Open Table & Colleague Advantage

Wage Information
The hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 to $19.00.
