Pathway Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in providing exceptional remote care for clients battling substance use issues. This full-time role is pivotal in administering mental health support and interventions for individuals undergoing detoxification. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.

The role will be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while supporting clients during their detox journey. As part of a dedicated team, you will engage with clients through virtual platforms, conducting sessions that adhere to therapeutic best practices. While the flexibility of remote work is essential, regular team meetings will ensure ongoing professional development and cohesive teamwork.

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments and evidence-based interventions for clients with mental health challenges and substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring continuity of service and effective communication among clients, families, and other professionals.
• Conduct crisis interventions and respond effectively to urgent situations to ensure client safety and appropriate care.
• Maintain case management duties, including monitoring client progress and ensuring compliance with treatment goals.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings to enhance service delivery and share best practices.
• Adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of safety and respect within the practice.
• Regularly document all client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational protocols.
• Assist in developing and participating in community outreach initiatives aimed at supporting recovery and wellness.

This position primarily focuses on individuals experiencing major mental illnesses and substantial emotional disorders often compounded by substance use. Our clientele includes a diverse demographic, each with unique stories and needs. As an LCSW at Pathway Counseling Services, you will take an active role in providing culturally competent care, recognizing and respecting the varied backgrounds and belief systems of the clients we serve.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure to practice in Illinois.
• Demonstrated ability to apply therapeutic models suited for behavioral health and substance use.
• Strong assessment, diagnosis, and crisis intervention skills specific to diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to facilitate effective collaboration and record-keeping.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting. Familiarity with integrated care approaches, experience in remote therapy delivery, and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance your effectiveness and contribution to our organization.

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
