Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Pathway Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and screenings for clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Developing and implementing customized integrated care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy while ensuring treatment is aligned with client goals and presenting issues.
• Offering crisis intervention and support as needed, including on-call coverage during and after program hours.
• Documenting client progress and maintaining timely records, ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards.
• Monitoring client caseloads, including assessment, treatment planning, and the coordination of discharge criteria.
• Participating actively in team meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance agency service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is to serve individuals from diverse backgrounds who face significant mental health challenges. Your work will primarily involve collaborating with children, adolescents, and families in a school setting, addressing their unique emotional and psychological needs while creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• Strong understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies applicable to diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective client interaction and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve common goals.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and adhering to professional guidelines.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experience is preferred:

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or community health setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities for managing mental health issues.
• Experience working with underserved populations and a commitment to community service.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
