About Raleigh Dream Center

Raleigh Dream Center (RDC) is a Christian nonprofit that exists to bring hope and restoration through the message of the Gospel for the people in our community. Since 2014, we have been committed to meeting people at their point of need through outreach and residential programs that address food insecurity, homelessness, addiction recovery, and more. Our team leads boldly through humility, are passionate about people and always find a way. We are looking for someone who shares that heart and brings excellence to help us steward our resources well to continue reaching more and restoring more.


Principal Objective:

Oversees the day to day activities of the women's Dream Center Discipleship (DCD) residential addiction recovery program and implements the policies and procedures. Ensures that all of the participants are following the schedule and teaching them skills needed to live in recovery.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the women's DCD program schedule and activities to ensure participants are actively showing growth towards biblical discipleship while experiencing sobriety.
  • Work with the Case Manager to track participant's progress with course assignments, service work, character development, etc...
  • Ensure that each participant is being tracked appropriately in the case management system to show movement towards their goals on a weekly basis with an acute awareness of the progress of each participant.
  • Manage any women's DCD support staff and volunteers.
  • Manage the volunteer guidelines for the areas this position oversees, while working with the director to fill each volunteer gap for the women to have the support they need.
  • Assist in creating and communicating a healthy transition plan for each participant to help each person succeed beyond the program.
  • Disciple women in the form of targeted weekly classes, and a scheduled one-on-one case load.
  • Implement the defined disciplinary actions and reward systems to encourage healthy growth.
  • Assist in teaching any classes and attend any outreaches or service assignments to help lead the participants as scheduled.
  • Attend any staff meetings, outings, events or training as scheduled. This can include some weekend commitments such as serving at Adopt-A-Blocks or attending a Sunday church service with the participants.
  • Turn in any receipts weekly by close of business on Fridays.
  • Return your emails or phone calls in a timely fashion.
  • With DCD being a 24/7 ministry, be aware that there may be potential emergencies that you assist with outside of usual work hours.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of or lived experience with addiction recovery
  • Minimum of three years experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience with problem solving, conflict resolution and crisis management
  • Familiarity in computer use and case management software
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Competent in professional reporting and communication
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field preferred
