Job description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Support Resource to assist with an urgent short‑term project focused on asset records, property classification, and documentation of finance procedures. This role is ideal for a 4th‑year Accounting student or recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in a corporate finance environment.

The selected candidate will support the Asset Records Project: Real vs. Personal Property, ensuring accurate classification, ledger updates, and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review real and personal property accounts to determine proper asset classification.
  • Identify assets requiring reclassification and update records accordingly.
  • Split the Asset History / Asset Ledger between real vs. personal property.
  • Apply all classification reviews and updates to the Asset Tax Ledger.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial records.
  • Assist in documenting finance department processes and workflows.
  • Support standardization and clarity of internal finance procedures.

Requirements

  • 4th‑year Accounting major or recent Accounting graduate.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage confidential financial information.
