Description:
Performs inspection of circuit card assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to verify compliance with workmanship standards and manufacturing requirements. Operates, monitors, and supports AOI systems used to detect component placement issues, solder defects, polarity errors, missing parts, and other visible assembly nonconformances. Reviews inspection results, identifies straightforward defects, documents findings, and escalates discrepancies as needed. Works from work instructions, inspection criteria, drawings, and applicable quality standards. May assist with basic troubleshooting of AOI equipment, recipe verification, and production support activities to maintain workflow and product quality.
