Your tasks at a glance        
  • You warmly welcome patients and direct them to the waiting room, ensuring that new patients complete the questionnaire to add to their files.
  • You handle mail, clinic phone lines, and voicemails, and make sure to call patients to confirm their appointments.
  • You are responsible for updating the medical records and appointments software after each patient's arrival and departure.
  • You manage inventory and ensure the aesthetics and cleanliness of the clinic when needed.
  • You support the organization's Risk Management program by identifying and promptly reporting patient safety concerns, incidents, or potential risks to clinic management, to assist in the organization's overall efforts to identify, report, and mitigate risks. 
A clear view of your assets        
  • You have excellent communication skills in English.  
  • You have experience as a receptionist, medical secretary, or administrative assistant in a doctor's office AND/OR have strong customer service/patient care skills.
  • You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset). 
  • You stand out for your organizational and collaborative skills as well as your ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • You especially thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and when you work as part of a team.
  • You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. 
  • Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday through Friday, day time, for approximately 2 to 3 days per week (minimum 20hrs/week).
