Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Houston, TX

Type: Contract-hire

Pay: $25-$26/hr DOE

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Position Summary:

The Receptionist is responsible for creating a professional first impression for visitors while providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. This role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and package deliveries.
  • Maintain office kitchen, including stocking supplies and coordinating cleanliness.
  • Order, organize, and maintain office and kitchen supplies.
  • Perform filing, scanning, copying, and general administrative support.
  • Assist with data entry, including invoices, purchase order numbers, and credit card statements.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Ensure the reception and common areas remain clean, organized, and professional.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of receptionist or front desk experience in a professional office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
