We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Inspection Clerk to support quality and inspection operations for incoming materials and components. This role is responsible for performing receiving inspections, documenting results, identifying nonconforming materials, and ensuring compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience working with inspection equipment, and the ability to read technical documentation and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving inspections of incoming materials in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
- Evaluate materials for acceptance or rejection based on specifications and inspection criteria
- Document and maintain inspection and quality records accurately
- Operate inspection equipment, including Nikon systems and various measuring tools
- Identify and document nonconforming materials and follow proper disposition procedures
- Review receiving inspection processes for compliance with quality requirements
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Assist with training coworkers on inspection procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- 2-3 years of related inspection, quality, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong math skills including metric/standard conversions, measurements, charts, and graphs
- Basic understanding of electronics, schematics/blueprints, and metrology
- Ability to operate computers and inspection equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and dependable
- Ability to work overtime as needed
