Rebound Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our committed team in Eugene, Oregon. This onsite role is situated within our hospital facility in Eugene, Oregon, which is well-equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources. Our team-oriented atmosphere encourages collaboration among healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs.

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement personalized treatment plans to facilitate patients' recovery.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities tailored to their specific conditions.
• Educate patients on effective exercise techniques and home exercise programs to foster ongoing recovery.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation and ultrasound, under the supervision of Physical Therapists.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, tracking metrics such as range of motion and strength improvements.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure that essential supplies and rehabilitation equipment are organized and accessible.
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain a professional and ethical standard, safeguarding patient confidentiality and rights.

Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, chronic pain issues, neurological conditions, and age-related limitations. As a PTA, you will have the opportunity to tailor your approach to effectively address the varied needs of these patients, promoting both physical recovery and emotional resilience.

• An Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Must possess a valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to implement therapeutic exercises under supervision effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building patient rapport and team collaboration.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for each patient.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management capabilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Experience working in a rehabilitation clinic or hospital setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress.
• Prior involvement in patient education programs.
