Our client, an industry leader in construction and manufacturing, is seeking a Rebar Fabricator I to join their team. As a Rebar Fabricator I, you will be part of the production department supporting the rebar fabrication process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Rebar Fabricator I

Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics and machine setup requirements.
  • Pull, cut, bend, and weld rebar assemblies to sizes specified in engineering prints to support production schedules.
  • Bend and create pull-pins for the cover casting department.
  • Stage rebar materials on handling skids and storage racks to support ongoing production activities.
  • Assist rebar benders in positioning metal bars for bending operations and reposition workpieces for initial and subsequent bends.
