Job description

We’re Growing! Join our Meta Lab Retail team at 697 5th Avenue in New York City as we bring Meta AI glasses and wearables along with Meta Quest mixed-reality products to life! As a Meta Experience Expert, you will deliver a best-in-class, white-glove experience through immersive, hands-on demos of cutting-edge wearable and mixed reality technology.  You’ll represent our client’s brand with enthusiasm, educating consumers and turning product demonstrations into meaningful customer acquisitions.  Our ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, an exceptional communicator, and deeply committed to delivering world-class customer service.

  • Be a subject matter expert! Fully understand the features and benefits of our client’s products including accessories 
  • Conduct world-class demonstrations of our clients’ mixed reality and wearable products within the dedicated space by creating immersive experiences with consumers that influence how they play, learn & experience the world around them 
  • Process consumer transactions using our clients Point of Sale (POS) system 
  • Achieve all goals and key performance indicators; in partnership with the Retail Manager, develop action plans when targets are not met 
  • Perform day to day operations, including but not limited to; opening and closing procedures and maintain interactive customer displays 
  • Show up on time with a can-do attitude, ready to support team goals and daily operations. 
  • Other duties as assigned by management 

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience in premium retail
  • Proven experience in presentation, public speaking, and/or storytelling  

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Exemplary interpersonal communication, soft skills, written, verbal and on camera 
  • Ability to leverage advanced customer service and industry-related experience to engage with consumers 
  • Must be results and detail-oriented 
  • Must be extremely tech-savvy and passionate about technology 
  • Ability to ask effective questions and be an active listener 
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn 
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills 
  • Able to work well in a team environment 
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time 
  • Flexible availability including nights & weekends
