Job description

Founded in 2016 in Saint Petersburg, FL, Amped Fitness is one of the fastest-growing fitness companies in the United States. Our mission is to transform the fitness experience by generating results, impacting lives, and building a strong community. We're more than just a gym... we are a place where The World is Yours!

At Amped Fitness, we’ve reinvented the traditional gym model by focusing on a member-first approach, offering a high-quality fitness experience with world-class equipment and unique amenities at an affordable price. Our Experience-Design-Low-Price (EDLP) model is revolutionizing the fitness industry, setting us apart from the typical big-box gyms.

Headquartered in Pompano Beach, we’re seeking a Director of Real Estate who thrives in high-growth environments and has strong experience in commercial real estate and multi-site expansion. This role is ideal for a hands-on development leader who understands site selection, lease negotiation, landlord relations, municipal approvals, and construction coordination — and can execute expansion efficiently and effectively.

The Director of Real Estate will report directly to the C-suite and play a critical role in driving the execution of our national growth strategy.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Do you have extensive experience moving commercial real estate deals from site identification to grand opening?

Amped Fitness is seeking a Director of Real Estate to lead the execution of our real estate expansion strategy. You will manage site selection, lease negotiations, permitting processes, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects move from signed lease to open club on time and within budget.

This role requires deep knowledge of commercial real estate and multi-unit rollout processes. You will work closely with executive leadership to implement expansion goals while maintaining strong relationships with landlords, brokers, municipalities, and internal construction teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute the company’s real estate strategy in alignment with expansion targets.
  • Assist site selection efforts, market analysis, and feasibility reviews for new club locations.
  • Negotiate commercial leases, LOIs, and related agreements while maintaining strong landlord and broker relationships.
  • Partner closely with construction and project management teams to ensure seamless transition from lease execution to build-out completion.
  • Track development timelines, budgets, and milestone reporting to executive leadership.
  • Support long-term growth planning by providing market intelligence and deal pipeline visibility.
  • Help build scalable processes to improve development speed and efficiency as the company grows.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have proven history of +20 commercial retail deals per year.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate retail expansion, or multi-site growth environments.
  • Proven experience negotiating commercial leases and LOIs.
  • Experience working closely with construction and project management teams.
  • Ability to analyze deal economics and evaluate site feasibility.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in fitness, retail, restaurant, or other high-growth multi-unit brands is a plus.

WHY JOIN US?

  • Play a key leadership role in expanding one of the fastest-growing fitness brands in the country.
  • Drive real estate execution that directly impacts company growth and market presence.
  • Work alongside a dynamic executive team in a culture that values speed, accountability, and results.
  • Competitive executive compensation package (base + performance incentives).
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision benefits, and 401(k) with company match.
  • Office located in Pompano Beach, FL (on-site, full-time required). Must be mobile within two weeks if the applicant is out of state.
