We’re looking for a talented Marketing & Design Specialist with capital markets experience who loves solving complex marketing challenges through thoughtful strategy and exceptional design.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Title: Marketing & Design Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA

Department: Corporate Marketing

Reports to: Marketing Director

Role Summary

Playing a key role on the Design Team, the Marketing & Design Specialist is a strategic thinker with a creative mindset and deep expertise in commercial real estate marketing—specifically in capital markets. This person leads high-level, custom marketing projects for top-producing brokerage teams across the company and provides creative support for corporate marketing initiatives and companywide branding efforts.

This position is based in Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA and will require full-time, in-office presence (five days per week) during the first three months to support onboarding and ramp-up. Following that period, the role will be eligible for a hybrid schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Drive and produce high-level proposal and pitch projects, including BOVs, RFP/RFQs, pitch decks, digital presentations, and banners, while coordinating content population with local staff
  • Develop and adapt existing brand identities for high-profile property listings across marketing collateral—including flyers, eflyers, OMs, social media, signage, and copywriting—and coordinate website design with in-house developer, while managing asset and content population with local brokerage marketing staff
  • Design and develop custom e-flyer layouts in TailoredMail; provide backend support for brokerage marketing staff as needed
  • Based on company brand standards, design and develop new off-the-shelf templates, including proposals, presentations, listing materials, social media, broker business development collateral, and company materials
  • Train regional brokerage marketing staff on brand standards, pitch/presentation development, and high-level technical skills as needed
  • Utilize Photoshop and Illustrator to edit and enhance property photographs, floor plans, and other images and graphics, ensuring brand standards are met
  • Use various mapping and demographic applications to run reports and create custom maps, aerials, and presentations as needed
  • Conceptualize, design, and copywrite ads for industry publications and sponsorships as needed
  • Design and assist with tradeshow booths, company events, and promotional items and materials as needed
  • Manage outside custom print projects when needed
  • Assist with corporate marketing initiatives and projects as needed
  • Stay current with new technologies, resources, and marketing trends

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, graphic design, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • 4+ years of professional marketing and graphic design experience, with at least 2 years focused on commercial real estate marketing

Technical Skills

  • 4+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; Premiere Pro & After Effects a plus)
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • HTML/CSS and web development/responsive design experience a plus
  • Video production experience a plus

Commercial Real Estate & Brand Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate marketing, including proposals, offering memorandums, property marketing campaigns, presentations, and branding
  • Experience creating or maintaining marketing templates and applying brand standards across a large, multi-office organization
  • Experience partnering with centralized marketing and brand functions in a multi-location organization on high-visibility or executive-facing projects

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong copywriting, editing, and visual communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, project management, and client service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple offices and stakeholders
  • Professional demeanor with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting design concepts and brand recommendations directly to brokers, leadership, and clients

Portfolio

A portfolio is required, demonstrating offering memorandums, pitch/presentation decks, and brand campaign work.
