Job description

Purpose of the Job 

This role is a key part of a dedicated global in-house creative production team driving creative innovation within the marketing team of this long-time client - a global leader in the Tech industry.   We are seeking a highly creative, results-oriented Strategic Marketing Copywriter to join the team based in the US.

Working in direct partnership the Art Director, this role is pivotal in crafting compelling, high-impact copy across all media—Above-the-Line (ATL), Below-the-Line (BTL), and Through-the-Line (TTL)—with a primary focus on digital assets targeting the US and LATAM markets.

The successful candidate will bridge the gap between creative writing and business goals, designing persuasive, research-backed messaging that drives measurable business results (revenue, acquisition, ROI).  You will analyze target audiences, define key differentiators, and ensure a consistent brand voice across platforms.  You will possess a strong strategic mindset, exceptional copywriting skills, and a proven ability to leverage emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance creative output.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategist and Art Director to translate complex marketing objectives and strategic briefs into innovative, engaging, and performance-driven copy concepts and executions.
  • Develop clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a wide range of marketing assets, including but not limited to:
    • Digital: Paid Social Ads (copy and scripts), Display Ads, Website Landing Pages, Email Marketing, Video Scripts (short-form and long-form).
    • Traditional/Integrated: Out-of-Home (OOH), Radio Scripts, Print Ads, and Integrated Campaign Taglines.
  • Ensure all copy adheres to the client’s brand voice, tone, and style guidelines while optimizing for channel best practices and regional nuances, particularly for US and LATAM audiences.
  • Lead the ideation and development of localized and culturally relevant content for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets 

AI Integration & Innovation

  • Proactively integrate AI and Generative AI tools into the copywriting workflow to accelerate drafting, generate variations, optimize for performance, and streamline content production, focusing on speed and scale.
  • Stay current with advancements in creative technology and AI to continuously identify new ways to enhance the agency’s content offering and efficiency.
  • Implement A/B testing copy frameworks, utilizing data and AI-driven insights to refine messaging and maximize conversion and engagement rates.

Collaboration & Performance

  • Work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, taking constructive feedback and translating it into enhanced creative solutions.
  • Understand and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing data to inform strategic copy decisions and ensure creative output is directly aligned with driving revenue, acquisition, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Present creative work confidently and articulately to internal stakeholders and client teams, defending strategic choices based on marketing objectives and audience insights.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience 

 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Copywriter, preferably within an in-house agency, creative agency, or marketing department, with a focus on large-scale digital marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrable portfolio showcasing high-impact, performance-driven digital advertising copy (social, display, video) for a global brand, ideally in the technology sector.
  • Proven experience working directly with Creative Strategists and Art Directors as a core creative team.
  • Deep understanding of the US and/or LATAM consumer markets and cultural sensitivities.
  • Exceptional ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into simple, engaging, and consumer-friendly language.
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI copywriting tools and a strong willingness to push the boundaries of technology in the creative process.

 

 Additional Desired Attributes

 

  • Experience in copywriting for multiple platforms and campaign types (ATL, BTL, TTL).
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a significant asset, though not mandatory.
  • Experience working within a rapid-iteration, agile creative production environment.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

For New York and California applicants: The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,00 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.  

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
