Job description

Now Hiring: Order Entry Specialist
The Order Entry Specialist plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring accurate and timely order processing. This position partners closely with internal teams to support production flow, maintain data integrity, and meet customer expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders, ensuring timely submission to support production schedules and lead times
  • Validate order details, pricing, and availability (ATP), creating jobs that align with production requirements
  • Prepare and distribute order acknowledgements to confirm details and maintain clear communication with customers
  • Collaborate with scheduling, production, engineering, and freight teams to resolve order questions and ensure specifications are met
  • Monitor open orders, support rush requests, and provide follow-through to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with customer service support tasks, including cross-team coverage, communications, and administrative responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Background in customer service, business, or manufacturing operations; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience in order entry, data management, or customer support within a manufacturing or production environment is a plus
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and comfort working with ERP or order systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional, team-oriented approach
