What is an RDO job?

An RDO job, or Rostered Day Off, typically refers to a structured work schedule where employees accumulate extra hours to take scheduled days off. This system is commonly used in industries like construction, manufacturing, and government roles to balance workload and improve work-life balance. Employees may work slightly longer hours on regular days to earn RDOs, which are taken periodically as agreed upon by the employer and employee.
