Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for multiple Designers in Lakewood, CO. This is a full-time contract-to-permanent hire, office-based assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive hourly rate along with hands-on training and long-term growth opportunities.

Overview of YOUR role as a Designer Our client is seeking 2 Designers to support utility make-ready design projects. In this role, you will review field data, evaluate compliance with current standards, and develop design solutions for failed structures. You'll work closely with a team of designers and project managers to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.

As a Designer YOU will: Review field-collected information to determine if structures pass or fail current design standards. Create and modify design solutions to bring failed structures into compliance. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to interpret and implement construction standards.

Use multiple design software programs to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines Manage and prioritize multiple design projects, typically with a 14-day turnaround time. Collaborate closely with other designers to share workload and ensure consistency across designs. Remain flexible and able to pivot as project needs or priorities change.

Receive future training in pole-load analysis. Maintain strong communication with supervisors and team members. YOU are the ideal Designer candidate if you have: Strong computer and technical skills, with the ability to learn multiple software systems.

Critical thinking ability and attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects.

Coachable attitude with the ability to accept and apply feedback. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. It's a BONUS if you have: Previous experience in utility or make-ready design.

Background in engineering design or related technical disciplines. Training: Day one will include shadowing and orientation. The Project Manager will provide foundational training and an overview of the design process.

Designers will work in a collaborative design lab environment, learning side-by-side with peers. Training will include hands-on instruction, design manuals, and one-on-one mentoring. Ongoing guidance is provided to ensure priorities and deadlines are clearly defined and met.
