Job description

Equipment Operator
Division: RCS Construction - Celina
About RCS: RCS and Bruns Construction have been serving the commercial and residential construction industries for more than 70 years. RCS has succeeded in the industry for years by a forward looking approach to building a high quality product and by retaining and recruiting some of the best employees from the region. Currently we employ more than 300 associates and are proud to be an Associate Owned Company with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan).
Description:
  • The applicant will be responsible for running bulldozers, excavators, skidloaders, pans and other construction equipment.
  • Work will consist of moving dirt, rock, sand, gravel and other materials.
  • The Equipment Operator will work in a combination of new construction and remodel jobs with mostly light commercial work and some residential.
  • RCS will offer training to the Equipment Operator with the ability to advance in the field

Preferred Skills:
  • Safety focused
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1 year heavy equipment operations experience
  • Pan / scraper experience is a huge plus
  • CDL Class A strongly preferred
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • A basic understanding of how to read blueprints
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexibility & willingness to work in multiple positions
