    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Business Analyst with a strong focus on requirements gathering. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and be able to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, define, and document system and process requirements. The role involves gathering comprehensive requirements, analyzing business needs, and ensuring that RCM systems and workflows align with the organization's financial goals, compliance standards, and operational efficiency.
    Key Responsibilities:
    * Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
    o Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., billing, coding, finance, clinical operations) and the IT team to capture and define detailed business requirements for RCM systems and processes.
    o Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders to identify pain points, opportunities for improvement, and specific needs within the revenue cycle.
    o Develop use cases and user stories to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and documented by both technical teams and stakeholders.
    o Lead requirement prioritization sessions to determine which business needs should be addressed first based on their impact on revenue cycle performance, compliance, and efficiency.
    o Maintain a detailed requirements traceability matrix to ensure that all business requirements are captured, validated, and implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
    * Process and Workflow Documentation:
    o Analyze existing RCM processes and workflows to identify areas where technology or process improvements are needed.
    o Map current and future state processes (using process flow diagrams or similar tools) to ensure that proposed changes align with business objectives and system capabilities.
    o Collaborate with stakeholders to document new or updated workflows, ensuring that the requirements for system integration, data exchange, and user interfaces are well-defined.
    * Collaboration with Technical Teams:
    o Work closely with IT and development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system features.
    o Act as the point of contact for clarifications during the development and testing phases, ensuring the system meets business requirements.
    o Review and validate system configurations, customizations, and enhancements based on the business requirements gathered.
    * User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
    o Develop test cases based on gathered requirements to ensure the system meets functional and business expectations.
    o Coordinate and support UAT efforts, including preparing test scenarios, gathering feedback from users, and reporting defects or issues for resolution.
    o Ensure that the final deliverables meet the needs of the business before going live.
    * Ongoing Requirements Management:
    o Regularly engage with business stakeholders to validate and refine requirements as business needs evolve or new opportunities for improvement arise.
    o Ensure that any post-implementation enhancements or changes are managed effectively by re-gathering requirements, assessing impacts, and documenting changes for continuous process improvement.
    * Training and Support:
    o Work with the training team to develop materials and training sessions based on the system requirements and workflows.
    o Provide ongoing support to RCM teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes or systems and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
    Qualifications:
    * Education:
    o Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
    * Experience:
    o 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in healthcare, with a focus on requirements gathering and process analysis in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain.
    o Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and documenting business requirements.
    o Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, insurance claims, payer relationships, and reimbursement methodologies.
    * Skills & Competencies:
    o Experience creating use cases, user stories, and business process models.
    o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to identify business needs and translate them into actionable system requirements.
    o Familiarity with other RCM software and Business Process Management (BPM) tools is a plus.
