Job Description
Quantech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Support & Logistics Specialist to provide expert technical and programmatic assistance to the Space Systems Command (SSC)/SZ-BC. This organization is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and sustaining highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive lifecycle logistics support across various acquisition lifecycle efforts.
This dynamic environment requires a professional with a strong understanding of ground, near-space, space, and related operating systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
As a Product Support & Logistics Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing skilled and experienced lifecycle logistics support throughout the entire system lifecycle, including design, development, test, production, sustainment improvement modifications, and system disposition.
  • Supporting systems engineering, architecture development, and decision-making processes from a logistics perspective.
  • Engaging in integrated logistics planning and execution activities.
  • Providing acquisition assistance, including support for contracting, finance, and scheduling activities.
  • Offering overall product support expertise across various acquisition lifecycle efforts.
  • Developing and delivering draft product support requirements documents to ensure product support considerations are integrated into system acquisitions.
  • Collaborating with Government cross-functional teams to develop accurate assumptions, capture data, and perform data analysis to refine product support requirements.
  • Providing guidance and conducting assessments to facilitate informed decisions on developing and maturing product support elements and ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory directives.
  • Implementing and managing support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Providing oversight of product support functions for fielded systems.
  • Applying comprehensive knowledge in the implementation and execution of the twelve (12) Product Support Elements (PSE).
  • Managing military airlift cargo using the government transportation network and billing process, requiring intimate knowledge of Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System (FACTS) and Defense Enterprise and Accounting Management System (DEAMS).
  • Providing product support to various space systems, including but not limited to Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) rapid prototyping and rapid fielding initiatives.
  • Developing and maintaining technical order management and maintenance activities (TOMA).
  • Assisting with the development of new technical order development strategies to align with evolving Government system acquisition strategies.
  • Participating in the development of RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, and PWSs related to technical orders.
  • Supporting the efficient, accurate, and cost-effective acquisition of technical orders.
  • Managing technical order in-process reviews, working group meetings, and validation/verification events and schedules.

Job Requirements
Minimum Education & Certification(s): BA/BS Required
Minimum Yrs. Experience and/or Expertise: 3-10 years of Specific and demonstrable experience working with United States Space Force programs and organizations.
Clearance: Active TS (SCI Eligible)

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role mostly sitting; however, some filing maybe required . This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary, ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control and professionalism.
