Job description

RAMPED Security, a family-office-backed commercial security fence startup, is hiring our first salesperson in Houston - a pure hunter who will own their territory start-to-close and be paid like an owner, not an employee, with a track to a leadership position within as we scale with excellent performance.

The Role

You are salesperson #1. You'll generate your own pipeline through cold calls and on-site visits to commercial and industrial properties - storage yards, dealerships, logistics, equipment rental - and run every deal from first knock to signed contract. You'll work directly with the founder and what you build becomes the playbook for everyone we hire after you.

RAMPED operates as a true meritocracy - if you prove yourself with strong performance, there is opportunity to advance into a leadership position, building, hiring, and managing sales teams across the region.

What You'll Do
  • Prospect relentlessly: cold calls, drive-bys, and walk-ins across the Houston metro.
  • Conduct on-site property assessments and present our security solution to owners and operations leaders.
  • Own the full cycle - qualify, quote, negotiate, close.
  • Feed what you learn in the field back into product and pricing. We are quick to develop new features and will build around your feedback.
Requirements
  • Proven B2B outside sales experience, ideally selling to industrial, logistics, or property operators.
  • Self-starter who needs a territory, not a script - you will not be micromanaged.
  • Comfortable with 100% performance-based compensation and the upside that comes with it.
  • Reliable vehicle and clean driving record; Houston-based.
Nice to Have
  • Experience selling physical security, fencing, alarms, or facility services.
  • Existing relationships with multi-site commercial operators in Texas.
Compensation

Straight commission, uncapped, at a highly competitive percentage of gross margin. No ceiling, no shared territory, no house accounts. If you can sell, you will out-earn every base-plus-commission rep in the market.

Equity participation possible for the right person. We are targeting a presence in all 50 states. The market is wide open and the opportunity is ours.

We are an equal opportunity employer.
