Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
The Supply Chain Planner is part of a team responsible for managing replenishment planning for short-shelf life products, ensuring optimal product freshness and availability while controlling total supply chain costs across Tropicana's North American distribution network, while optimizing use of different transportation modes to balance cost and lead-time. Key responsibilities include:
  • Finished Goods deployment, primarily coordinating rail & truck transport to multiple distribution centers, while supporting the full team for overall deployment execution
  • Scheduling and maintaining appropriate inventory levels for assigned distribution centers/BU items.
  • Creating product transfer loads and coordinates with the DC and Transportation management, maximizing loading efficiencies while maximizing date code.
  • Balancing operational & logistics costs to produce optimal deployment.
  • Sharing in the responsibility to ensure the key business objectives of customer fill rate, NCP (non-conforming product) waste reduction, transport mode objectives, and on-time delivery are met
  • Reviewing and updating schedule daily to meet deployment and production planning deadlines
  • Leveraging SAP suite of planning tools in conjunction with additional reports and dashboards

The Perfect Blend: Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning or execution, ideally within CPG or Food & Beverage.
  • Experience in planning for short shelf-life Food & Beverage products (e.g., fresh juice, dairy, produce).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP S/4, SAP-IBP experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience with truck and/or rail load optimization tools for maximizing freight efficiency and product freshness.
  • Familiarity with MP, MRP, DRP, Customer Logistics, or 3PL operations.
  • Broad understanding of planning-related functions, including materials requirements planning, manufacturing planning, warehousing, transportation, and purchasing
  • Strong analytical ability and proficiency in manipulating large datasets using Excel and Power BI; experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in value-added applications is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and drive fact-based decision-making.
  • Able to work through difficult supply/service situations, such as product allocations, with Supply Chain and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Able to manage or backup for other Supply Chain Planning tasks, as required

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field (Industrial Engineering, Business Administration).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
