Job description

Job Title:         Sr R/D Engineer

Client:              Medical Device Manufacturing Company

Duration:         14 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Location:         Fort Worth, TX 76137

Shift:                1st Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product design and development for medical device products.
  • Develop and refine designs using CAD modeling and engineering drawings.
  • Support CNC grinding setup, troubleshooting, and manufacturability improvements.
  • Perform GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Conduct FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support design control processes.
  • Assist with transitioning new designs into production environments.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience performing tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Experience supporting product design and development projects.
