Job description

Laborer 1 - Underground Construction
Location: Reno, NV
Department: Field
Type: Full-Time


About the Role
This is hands-on underground construction work. You will support crews installing utilities, trenching, backfilling, spotting equipment, and keeping jobsites safe and productive.


If you like physical work, being part of a crew, and going home knowing you did something real, this role may be a good fit.

What You'll Do
Support underground utility and trenching work
Assist operators and foremen on active jobsites
Spot equipment and help identify utilities
Load, unload, and stage tools and materials
Perform backfill and site cleanup
Wear PPE and follow safety procedures at all times
Help keep the job moving safely and efficiently

RequirementsRequired:
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
Willingness to follow safety rules and company procedures


Preferred (or willing to obtain):
OSHA 10
Underground or construction experience
Experience with traffic control or utility locating
Bilingual preferred; must be able to read, write, and speak English
Basic computer and mobile technology skills for jobsite reporting and communication
