Are you an experienced concrete carpenter who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and contributing to large-scale construction projects? Join a team working on commercial and industrial builds across the Valley, where your skills will directly shape durable, high-quality structures.


What You’ll Do

As a Concrete Carpenter, you’ll be a key contributor on active job sites, helping bring complex projects to life from the ground up.

  • Perform concrete work on slabs, walls, columns, and structural elements
  • Set, align, and strip formwork systems (MEVA and gang forms preferred)
  • Place, pour, and finish concrete surfaces, including architectural finishes
  • Assist with layout, material handling, and job site preparation
  • Support site cleanliness and organization to maintain efficiency and safety
  • Operate common concrete and carpentry tools such as forms, scaffolding, shovels, wheelbarrows, and finishing tools
  • Follow all job site safety standards and procedures

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63440.00 - $71760.00/yr.

Mortenson is a large General Contractor. These openings are to support their self-perform concrete team. They primarily focus on Commercial and Industrial projects including battery storage facilities, advanced manufacturing, high rise buildings, etc. They have an internal apprenticeship program and want to train/build their internal team. They have 4 levels for each trade and each one comes with pay increases. These positions are Level II and as they progress will be able to get up to Level IV. Laborers can move up to Carpenter level and pay ranges from $30-35/hour.
