Robinson Lumber Company is looking to hire a Hardwood Sales Representative. This is a newly created position based on our successful growth and development selling in the North American market. The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for hardwood lumber and decking sales within North America. The more you contribute to sales, the more your earning potential increases!

You will be responsible for:

  • Growth of sales of North American and Imported Hardwood Lumber and Decking
  • Customer relationship development
  • Managing sales opportunities/pipelines and quoting
  • Maintaining customer information in Salesforce.com CRM system
  • Travel is required
  • Other tasks as assigned

You may be a good candidate if you have:

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous lumber industry sales experience
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A willingness to “hunt” for customers
  • An ability to relate and work with people at all organizational levels
  • An ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • The ability to travel out of state, as needed
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, word, excel) & CRM software
