Job description

Account Manager – Domestic Sales

We are seeking a sharp, energetic Account Manager for one of our clients in Plantation. This is not an outside sales role. The position is primarily inside sales and customer service focused, managing assigned customer accounts and acting as the internal point of contact for clients.

Schedule and Compensation

  • Monday – Friday  8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Salary: $70,000 plus end-of-year bonus

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Manage and own a portfolio of domestic customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsiveness, follow-up, and solution-oriented communication
  • Act as the internal representative for customers, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure customer needs are met
  • Prepare quotes and gather all required documentation to support the quotation process
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status, pricing, inventory, testing, shipping, and related matters
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Send product samples to existing and prospective customers as requested
  • Track and manage customer-owned inventory
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer records, including quotes, orders, pricing, packaging, specifications, and complaints
  • Process purchase orders and assist with invoice-related tasks
  • Provide regular feedback to management regarding account activity and status
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business initiatives
  • Participate in occasional trade shows and customer-related events
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Science or Business required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is required
  • 2–3 years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer-facing sales roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Professional presentation, energetic personality, and ability to work directly with senior leadership
