Summary of the role
Trelleborg Medical Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Accounts based out of our Plymouth, Minnesota facility. This role is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through proactive customer engagement, opportunity identification, and coordination with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and execution.
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities within a defined territory or customer segment. Operating in a fast-paced B2B environment focused on medical device and LifeScience markets, you will engage with business clients primarily via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and build long-term relationships.
This role requires strong account management skills, proactive approach to lead generation, pipeline management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Success in this position is measured by your ability to meet or exceed sales targets, contribute to team goals, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts, strengthening relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting account growth objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and new program support.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for the assigned accounts, from quotation through order execution and follow-up.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate pricing, proposals, and customer communications aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support contract renewals and commercial negotiations.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to understand evolving needs, forecast demand, and address concerns early.
  • Support resolution of order, delivery, or quality-related issues in collaboration with Customer Success, Operations, and Quality teams.
  • Track opportunities, customer interactions, and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of inside sales, account management, or customer-facing commercial experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.
  • Healthcare contract manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality requirements.
