Job Summary:
Under general supervision, create and maintain the accounting records for multiple clients using QuickBooks Desktop and Online Versions. Input data and reconcile accounts as needed. Assist the CFO in running and customizing reports that provide business analysis and results. Perform banking functions as required.
Transactions:
Organize multiple client files and maintain schedules of daily, weekly and monthly task requirements for multiple clients.
Manage bills received from vendors, data entry in QuickBooks, filing of documents and mailing of payments.
Process and record multiple client deposits and match to invoices and maintain client files.
Inventory tracking and data entry of production activities.
Reconcile Credit Card transactions and statements for multiple clients.
Report creation and customization from within QuickBooks and QuickBooks Statement Writer.
Create and maintain time tracking records, if applicable.
Make journal entries and general bookkeeping tasks as directed.
Administrative support, including mailings, filing, reception and other support tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Education Requirements:
Accounting degree or equivalent work experience.
Three Five years of hands on QuickBooks experience.
QuickBooks certifications a plus but not required.
Ability and knack for working with numerical data. Attention to detail.
Accurate solid understanding of QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier versions and the
QuickBooks Online application.
Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of business and accounting terms such as profit, ROI, assets, liabilities, etc.
